HTTPBuddy Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HTTPBuddy (hereinafter referred to as “the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HTTPBuddy is an iOS HTTP/API and WebSocket debugging tool. It allows developers to compose and send HTTP requests, debug WebSocket connections, review history, measure phase timing, simulate concurrent load, export data in HAR or raw formats, and connect to Postman/Apifox for interface synchronization.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms.

4. Free Features and Pro Lifetime Purchase

• The App provides core features free of charge.
• Advanced features (including HAR export, request replay, concurrent load testing, expression injection, scripts, and WebSocket debugging) are unlocked via a one-time Pro Lifetime purchase.
• All purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We do not handle or store payment information.
• Refund requests must be submitted through Apple’s App Store refund process.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the App to send requests, messages, or data that are unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that violate the rights of any third party or the terms of any service you interact with.
• Be solely responsible for the content of requests you send and for ensuring you have the necessary authorization to access any API, server, or WebSocket endpoint you connect to.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may allow you to connect to third-party services (such as Postman or Apifox) and to send requests to third-party servers or APIs. We do not control, and are not responsible for, these third-party services, their availability, or their content. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service’s own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works of the App, except as expressly permitted by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
